  depending on the timeline i would be here because my parents were born before the date given this time and were "in".. that assumes they still met, the same wiggler got through, and on and on.. maybe things should hold iff forevwr as there are still future generations coming.

  The platitude that 'God hasn't brought the end yet because of all the new ones coming in' has got to be one of the most idiotic arguments. Yes, thousands are baptized every month . . . But millions are born or die every month. By this logic Jehovah should've quit while he was ahead and brought the end sooner so that millions wouldn't live and die without knowledge of the one true restoration of worship in Pennsylvania, USA.

  i attended my grandfathers jw funeral the other day.

  firstly i am a rabid apostate, and certainly not wt greatest fan.

  that been said however, i will certainly stick up for them when they do the right thing.

  I can see that happening at a rented facility, but when it comes to a 'memorial' at the Hall, there is officially supposed to be only an approved Elder giving the talk, only the current approved outline, only one interviewee, if at all, and only official recordings from the current song book. Unless this is fresh off an email new direction from HQ, this is definitely not kosher!

  anyone else watch chicago med last night??

  one of the writers had a bone to pick...made the dubs look like a cult.

  (not hard to do, i know) very realistic, and they got all the lingo right.

  This illustration, as well as the one about marriage that says all who die are "like angels" are some of the most invonvenient scriptures for the GB to explain, working directly against their Paradise Earth dogma. If Jesus was the Greatest Teacher who ever lived, why would he confuse his listeners with supposedly 'false teachings' as a plot device?
